∈Y∋ established Osaka's legendary Boredoms way back in 1986, and since then has nurtured a reputation as one of the world's cult favorites, releasing genre-distorting albums like 'Super æ' and 'Vision Creation Newsun', and assembling scores of drummers to perform the ambitious Boadrum shows. But he's best known as a prolific collaborator, lending his skills to Sonic Youth, John Zorn's Naked City and conceptual projects like UFO or Die and Puzzle Punks. For this year's Unsound Osaka show, he joins forces with visual artist Colo Müller, aka C.O.L.O, the founder of multimedia A/V collective Cosmic Lab. Müller has worked on 'THE TRIP - Enter the Black Hole' with techno originator Jeff Mills, and previously collaborated with ∈Y∋ on 'FINALBY()', a transcendent, unashamedly psychedelic audiovisual experience.
