Working at Osaka's iconic Newtone Records store, Hamaon has developed a taste for sounds from across the musical spectrum. He's been DJing for almost five years, and hosts Sound For The Masses, a monthly experimental night at Socore Factory and Clunk, as well as an occasional disco session at Kita-Kagaya's Club Daphina that focuses on artists from marginalised areas. This year he's channeled all his experience into Obsession Music, an aptly-named imprint that will serve as an outlet for Hamaon's musical fascinations.
